Cloud based transcoders reside at the CDN or ISP… Designed to accept your single (origin) feed and create multiple streams that may vary in codecs, resolution, bit rate, wrapper, etc. for MULTI SCREEN applications.

Due to customer demand we developed an SDK to interface all our encoders. This runs across our MultiStreamer™ mini, midi, maxi, and BRUTUS product lines…

OCT. 2012 received a large contract to integrate this SDK with some well known Middleware Software.

Our goal is to sell Cloud Based Encoders to CDN's and ISP's who wish to offer MultiRate transcoding as a service… Perfect for Multi-Screen Video Delivery. In March we deployed our 1st cloud based transcoder within a Tier 1 CDN… The BRUTUS unit resides within their prime facility…

There are 2 simple ways we/you can implement cloud based transcoding at your facilities.

  1. Manual: Here humans configure incoming streams and use available transcode resources (i.e., CPU cores)
  2. Automatic Load Balancing: Here a load balancer or “traffic cop” application manages the incoming tasks and sends the task to the available cores to be transcoded… We can easily set this up for you.
