Packagers are the newly respected Swiss Army Knife of the streaming industry.  They are designed to segment H.264 transport streams into pre-determined chunks and package or wrap the segmented streams into HLS or DASH.  A third function they are tasked with is serving these streams to thousands of users simultaneously.  Packagers often also apply DRM or content protection keys to secure the streams.  We support DAES-128, VCAS™ (Verimatrix®), and Widevine®.

When you purchase many machines we help you manage them all with a central management tool. Load balancing is also important when implementing larger Distribution + VOD systems in telcos, stadiums and schools. In large implementations there are many VOD servers.   • HTTP/PROGRESSIVE: Acts as an HTTP Progressive Server to 10,000 simultaneous users by relaying content via most network input protocols: HLS, RTMP, UDP, RTP. There IS some magic to building efficient SERVERS. Throughput of servers is totally determined by optimizing Caching Algorithms, Memory I/O, and User Bandwidth. For best user experience we optimize all variables given your budget. There are 2 types of SERVERS. Each type is implemented differently.
