It's an "OPEN SOURCE" World! Watch the GROWTH at 50+% per year!!! Compare our transcode costs per channel!
We commercialize Open Source Software. RED HAT, SUSE, UBUNTU are changing the world!! HELP US TRANSFORM THE Streaming INDUSTRY FROM PROPRIETARY HARDWARE and SOFTWARE to OPEN STANDARD!! Open Standards means open software like LINUX® and open hardware based on Intel® processors. We however RUGGEDIZE the open source code base. Closed hardware to us is DSP, GPU, and FPGA based. We also offer complete platform scaling from tiny to large Multi Blade Server architecture. We offer great savings to organizations who wish to manage their $$$.
Our OPEN Technology Strategy: Intel® single or multi arrays of 4, 6, 8, and 16 core XEON® processors arranged in single or 48 CORE blade type arrangements and combined with our "Highly Optimized Embedded Linux®" that does NOT reside on a Hard Drive. Our latest Dual Motherboard 1 RU BRUTUS V server incorporates 48 CORES. It competes well within space, power, and throughput with GPU's... We use Intel® Xeon® processors as our basic "accelerators" in place of DSP's and GPU's. NO GPU's needed!! We optimize the available transcode engines so that they use Intel's multi core processors extremely efficiently. We also make the LINUX UBUNTU Kernel extra robust using proprietary reentrant code that is RELIABLE...
Many people find that "open source" results in more efficient and more rapid code development. Basically this paradigm motivates developers to write good code since others may see it. Open source communities also create better tools and test cases. Everything can be revised and rearranged rapidly including the test suites. We end up with RUGGEDIZED and thoroughly tested open source based code. We won't just take but do give back code to the open source community often.

We aim to be UNIQUE in the streaming market in that ALL our appliances are all Simultaneous MULTI STREAMERS. The CPU's we use allow us to make more than one stream. That is why we call this product line "MULTIStreamer". We can also make copies at low CPU overhead with our MULTISTREAM technology. Some of our competitors support (encode or transcode) just 1 stream. ALL our products transcode 1 to 200+ streams with different resolutions from 1 source. This allows you to generate high, medium, and low bit rate streams from your single input. When you use our "BRUTUS unit" we support 800+ streams across 10RU… If you elect to support 3 streams (High Med and Low bit rates) we can push 150 different streams with H/L outputs… All with different resolutions, bit rates, protocols, and wrappers. Our OS and application are provided on a non rotating flash drive, No HD to crash!! We now offer stream persistence and Catch UP TV via our LIVE or VOD and SegmentKeeper™ technology.
