The Pviper II 2-24ch HDMI/IP is a multichannel HD audio & video H.264 encoder and multiplexer. It features 8 to 24 HDMI video input interfaces, supporting MPEG-4 video encoding and MPEG 1 Layer 2 audio encoding. This device simultaneously encodes 24 channels of HD audio & video. Moreover, it has two IP output ports that support one MPTS and/or up to 24 SPTS outputs.

Its highly integrated and cost effective design make the Pviper II 2-24ch HDMI/IP ideal for a variety of digital distribution systems, such as cable TV digital head-end, satellite digital TV broadcasting, etc.

Real time, highly reliable, 1 RU, quick starting, standards compliant, embedded Linux® based, remotely manageable, one to four channel SD or HD (SDI), H.264/AVC or optional H.265 TS Encoder with optional built-in streaming support for 1,000+ simultaneous adaptive bitrate streaming and/or RTMP users. Incorporates a "minimal" Linux® kernel (residing on an SSD) yielding a highly reliable encoder manageable from anywhere via web GUI.

Supports most industry standard "protocols" like UDP or RTP with unicast or multicast, and "Wrappers" such as HLS, RTMP, DASH, etc. Audio output is AAC, MPEG-1 Layer II, optional MP3, and/or optional "SurCode for Dolby Digital" AC-3. Supports closed captioning and teletext with overlay.
