RF Receivers & IRD Decoders
Receiving a broadcast signal is only half the job. What matters is what happens next: decoding it reliably, managing the stream, and redistributing it where it needs to go, without degradation and without downtime.
DVEO's RF receivers and integrated receiver decoders are built for exactly that. Whether you're working with satellite feeds over DVB-S/S2, off-air terrestrial signals via ATSC, or contribution streams that need to be re-multiplexed and pushed downstream, this is the hardware that keeps your signal chain intact.
Built for Professional Signal Reception
T-Ramp - MPEG-2 and H.264 Integrated Receiver Decoder
The T-Ramp is DVEO's professional IRD for satellite and terrestrial broadcast environments. It receives, decodes, and redistributes video signals with the reliability that mission-critical operations demand, available in DVB-S/S2 and ATSC configurations.
At its core, the T-Ramp handles HD and SD decoding across MPEG-2 and H.264 formats. But it goes further than standard reception. A built-in re-multiplexer lets you restructure transport streams on the fly, outputting to IP or ASI without additional hardware. With support for up to 32 simultaneous unicast or multicast IP output streams at up to 70 Mbps, it's designed for headend and distribution environments where throughput and flexibility aren't optional.
For encrypted content, the T-Ramp supports BISS 1 and BISS E decryption natively, along with two CI slots that accommodate up to four CAM modules, compatible with Irdeto, Viaccess, Conax, Mediaguard, NDS, and more. Dynamic PMT detection keeps the system current as stream parameters change, so your operation doesn't miss a beat.
Management is handled through a web-based GUI for remote configuration, plus an LCD front panel for local control. It also supports VBI teletext, EBU/DVB subtitles, closed captioning, and HD-to-SD down conversion, covering the full range of what a professional receive chain typically requires.
What This Category Covers
The RF Receivers & IRD Decoders collection includes professional receive and decode hardware for broadcast, cable, IPTV, and contribution workflows. Each unit is selected for signal integrity, stream management capability, and operational reliability in demanding environments.
Current lineup:
T-Ramp DVB-S/S2: Satellite IRD with IP/ASI re-multiplexing, BISS decryption, and multicast output. $2,995.
T-Ramp ATSC: Terrestrial IRD for off-air reception and local broadcast environments. Contact us for pricing.
Common Applications
The T-Ramp is deployed across a range of professional broadcast and distribution environments:
Satellite contribution and distribution feeds where signal security and re-multiplexing are required. Cable and IPTV headends that need to receive, decode, and push multiple IP streams downstream. Off-air reception for terrestrial broadcast monitoring or redistribution. ASI-to-IP and IP-to-ASI conversion within existing signal chains. Transport stream monitoring and signal integrity verification.
