Using Brutus Media Server, ad markers can be dynamically inserted into HLS manifests for live events via the API. This allows broadcasters and OTT providers to signal ad breaks in real time without altering the underlying video stream. The API supports insertion of EXT-X-CUE-OUT, EXT-X-CUE-IN, and EXT-X-DATERANGE tags, enabling seamless server-side ad insertion (SSAI) workflows.
