An ATSC/QAM to IP transcoder using Flussonic Media Server enables the conversion of traditional broadcast signals into IP-based streams for modern delivery. It ingests ATSC (over-the-air) or QAM (cable) MPEG-TS feeds, decodes the content, and transcodes it into adaptive bitrate formats like HLS or MPEG-DASH. This allows operators to distribute live TV channels across networks, OTT platforms, and internal IPTV systems. Flussonic also supports channel mapping, EPG integration, and efficient resource usage, making it suitable for both small headends and large-scale deployments.
